Born: March 13, 1914

Started the first Nursery School in Indore. Founded Bal Niketan Sangh. Activities- urban and rural welfare centres, crèches, a rescue home for destitute children, Balwadis, integrated child development programmes medical help and camps. Opened a unique Toy-Library. Started ‘One boy-one tree' programme as part of massive tree plantation drive. Established a Girls' Hostel in Jarbat.
