Born: 1917

Joined the Commerce College, Wardha. Suffered imprisonment in freedom struggle.Formed a ‘Village Service League' - a forum for youths. Set up Gramseva Kendras. Started ‘Sadhna Sadan' in Mahakal, a village near Vinobaji's Paunar Ashram. Actively participated in Bhoodan. Thereafter, started imparting education on the lines of Nai Talim. Convenor of the Azadi Bachao Andolan to propagate Swadeshi.
