Ms. Anne Ferrer had a life mission to serve the poorest of the poor in India. She along with her husband identified Ananthapuram, a chronic drought prone district in Andhra Pradesh as their Karmabhoomi. They set up the Rural Development Trust (RDT) in Ananthpuram, in 1969.
