In absence of Mr. BonBehari Vishnu Nimbkar (Founder, Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute, Maharashtra), his daughter Dr. Chanda Nimbkar received (on his behalf) the Jamnalal Bajaj Award for Application of Science & Technology for Rural Development (2016) at the Jamnalal Bajaj Awards 2016, held on 7th November, 2016 at 5:30 pm at Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, in Mumbai.
