Dr. Herbert Schambeck (Vice-President, Federal Council of the Republic of Austria, Austria) was the Chief Guest and awards were received by: Mr. Tirath Ram (Constructive Work), Mr. Shripad A. Dabholkar (Application of Science & Technology for Rural Development), Ms. Ratan Shastri (Development & Welfare of Women and Children) and Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne (Promoting Gandhian Values Outside India).
