The Jamnalal Bajaj Awards 2008 were held on 4th November, 2008 at 5:00 pm at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, in Mumbai. Mr. M. Hamid Ansari (Hon'ble Vice President of India) was the Chief Guest and awards were received by: Mr. Biswanath Pattnaik (Constructive Work), Mr. Tushar Kanjilal (Application of Science & Technology for Rural Development), Ms. Phoolbasan Yadav (Development & Welfare of Women and Children) and Mr. Louis Campana (Promoting Gandhian Values Outside India).
