The Jamnalal Bajaj Awards 1985 were held on 20th November, 1985 at 5:00 pm at FICCI Golden Jubilee Auditorium, in New Delhi. Mr. R. Venkataraman (Hon'ble Vice-President of India) was the Chief Guest and awards were received by: Mr. T.S. Avinashilingam (Constructive Work), Mr. Sanjit Bunker Roy (Application of Science & Technology for Rural Development) and Ms. Anutai Vagh (Development & Welfare of Women and Children).
